I just wanted to throw out a little message to any new people coming in from BlueSky... I'm sorry that you had to come here. I know that you had high hopes for your platform and you're feeling let down. I just want to let you know, that this place isn't perfect either. You can be let down by instance owners, mods, etc. Even the users can let you down occasionally. I can only hope that you find the same joy and freedom on Mastodon that I do. It's not perfect, but it's still a good place to be.

Some people get emotionally triggered when they see Trumps face. It brings up a lot of fears and dread. So please, use either a CW or a hashtag when posting political content. Don't complain about how the government doesn't protect it's citizens when you can't even use a hashtag.

After having cancelled Disney and Hulu along with Paramount and HBO we only have 1 show to finish watching before the subscription ends next month. I find myself playing video games more often. I think we’ll find a podcast we can listen to tonight. It feels almost like returning to a simpler time when choices in entertainment were few and the moments spent with others were more meaningful instead of just shared distractions. I’m looking forward to this.
