How can you trust a career islamic "scholar" where he is not funded by people in a way that makes him immune to popular manipulation(afraid to say things that popular opinion doesn't agree with) or central financial power manipulation aka governments and friends? Just as you don't trust a career politician you should definitely do the same for them.
