Grape harvesting season is in full swing in Kern County CA. Workers tell us it was 94° at 11am. They shared that the labor is exhausting, but they know how to do it well. They earn minimum wage and this labor is what pays their bills. #WeFeedYou #calor

Workers are weeding the cilantro beds on their knees on CAs Central Coast. They are near the beach where it is damp. Some of the workers are wearing vinyl chaps on their legs to stay dry, while others don't have anything to protect themselves from the wet ground. #WeFeedYou

"Juan" harvests peaches in CAs SJ Valley. "It's HOT during the short peak season and it's hard to keep up the pace needed to make extra money. We climb a 14ft ladder. Our full bag weighs 40 lbs. We run to the crate and back to start again. We earn $30 per 900lb crate." #WeFeedYou

Farm workers are hard at work weeding this Central Coast lettuce field. They share: Our hands hurt from the repetitive motion of doing this work 8 hours a day. And our feet get tired from walking the long fields all day. But it's honest work and helps feed America. #WeFeedYou

These CA tomato pickers make 86¢ per bucket. The worker runs back to try and make as many buckets as they can. Because of the hot weather they often only work 4 to 5 hours a day, so every bucket counts towards paying their bills. #WeFeedYou

"Adan" works at a vineyard under a UFW contract and shares, "My union contract makes me feel safe. Because of it we consistently have safety meetings. We know what to do to remain safe which is very important during these hot summer days." #WeFeedYou

"Saul" has been working harvesting strawberries on CAs Central Coast. He shares: It's a tiring job. I worked all day hunched over harvesting. I had to pick as fast as I could as I earn piece rate and this is the only way I might earn a couple of extra dollars. #WeFeedYou

Workers tell us it is hot in Western NY's apple orchards. On this day temps hit 96°. Plus there has been a number of heat waves over the last month or so. Despite the heat they are hard at work de-leafing the trees to encourage better fruit production and quality. #WeFeedYou
