This sort of shit is exactly why I leave my pride flag out all year long. I'm gay. I am proud I'm gay. I want everyone who goes by my home to know a gay couple and/or gay allies live here. I don't see a gay pride flag as any more of a political statement than someone wearing a cross necklace or having a stick figure family on their car with both an adult man and an adult woman. I simply am what I am. And if that pisses you off, that's on you, not me.

Well, my autism means I like calm and quiet and regular familiar routines. My ADHD means I like different and novel stimulation and exposure to lots of randomness. Oh so they cancel one another out? No it just means my brain is never content.
