Wow. The Oregon Supreme Court just ruled that all criminal cases where a court-appointed attorney wasn't assigned within 60 days for misdemeanors and 90 days for felonies must be dismissed. This means hundreds of suspects charged with serious crimes are being let go, mostly in the Portland area. Oregon has been suffering from a critical shortage of public defenders due to poor leadership. The state already spends $300 million per year, and pay for public defenders is among the highest in the country.

Trans terror: German trans Antifa member Simeon "Maja" Ravix Trux has been sentenced to eight years in a Hungarian prison after a trial found he was guilty for being part of a 2023 international Antifa attack on victims in Budapest. Trux is a member of Antifa Ost (Antifa East), a group recently designated by the U.S. State Department as a Foreign Terrorist Organization. Most of the other Antifa attackers escaped justice. One Italian suspect in custody was elected to the EU Parliament as a member of a leftist party, thereby earning diplomatic immunity. Two other Germans were able to fight their extradition to Hungary. At hearings and the trial for Trux, many far-left extremists traveled there to cheer him on and support him.
