What will be difficult is the fiber optics side, which would require an anchor state that's capable of developing an independent global fiber optic cable system which will be able to independently power these Nostr networks through data centers. Developing data centers for this will be a separate challenge

Criticism of Nostr stems from a distorted view of social media. The social element in these apps has long been erased and replaced by the algorithmic spirit.
