Spring of 2021: this was the last picture we took of us in our home.
when I see this picture, I have a hard time believing this was “our life”.
steady careers, a 4 bedroom home, suburban neighborhood, & a path that seemed “figured out”.
but in the inner core of our beings, there was a stirring. a curiosity of, “What if there’s actually more to life than having a big home and careers?”
we had to make a decision. to stay on the path of a settled life or listen to that inner voice guiding us to a path that was unknown.
I’m really proud of the two people in this photo… for being brave and making decisions with conviction.
take some time today to look back and appreciate where you came from.
