I had a strange experience while crossing through US CBP in the Toronto airport. I was coming home after three days in Canada. The officer scanned my passport, and then sat there for what must have been five minutes, reading his screen. Every so often he would raise his eyebrows slightly, like “Huh.” He said nothing and asked me no questions, and I stood there patiently. After this long interlude he handed me my passport and said, “You can go.”
Do you suppose he was reading my social media? My LinkedIn? A Google AI overview about me? Who the hell knows?
