It’s interesting to see the nasty attitude of people when they think you’re Pakistani. They treat you terribly. Then the moment I open my mouth and speak English or show them my blue American passport, everything changes, their shoulders loosen up, their tone changes, and a smile comes to their face. Pakistanis are badnam (disgraced) all over the world.
