we live in a hill, so gardening is a bit if a challenge. in the last few years, we built around 60 raised beds using tree trunk logs on end, and 5-6 year aged cow manure. we always mulch the soil to keep the moisture and nutrients from eroding into the air. this is a view looking down the hill, towards the carport we use as a barn for the cow and calf.
