The Privacy Working Group has published the First Public Working Draft of Global Privacy Control (GPC). This specification provides a way to signal, through an HTTP header or the DOM, a person's assertion of their applicable rights to prevent the sale of their data, the sharing of their data with third parties, and the use of their data for cross-site targeted advertising." #privacy

The Decentralized Identifier Working Group has published the following four Group Notes: Decentralized Identifier Extensions, DID Methods, DID Document Property Extensions and DID Resolution Extensions. The mission of the DID Working Group to seek consensus around the best way to achieve effective interoperability through common requirements, algorithms, architectural options, and various considerations for the DID resolution and DID URL dereferencing processes.
W3C has launched the Sustainable Web Interest Group. The mission of the Group is to improve digital sustainability so that the Web works better for all people and the planet. The group develops and documents guidelines, patterns, processes, and best practices (along with supporting materials) for addressing sustainability issues within digital technology affecting both people and the planet.
