On principle if a machine breaks or stops working such that I need to replace it because I still need to accomplish the function it provides then I always buy _better_ rather than repeat.
Except at the moment I'm wondering whether a repeat might actually make more sense.
This is blowing my head up so I'm going to stop looking at possible alternatives and do something else.
The problem with the assumption of lifelong monogamy is that it is very limiting. There is nothing preordained about a stright couple, there is no 'right' to a partner.
Changing demographics mean other options are easily possible, such as triads, quads, S- and line-marriages. We should all experiment more.
