To all those “Let them go without food for a month, maybe they’ll get a job” people: Most SNAP recipients have jobs. Exploitative jobs that keep them living just below the poverty line. — Should they starve to death? And then what?
It has been said before, but it bears repeating: the elderly who’ve worked their entire lives to get $800 a month on Social Security aren’t bankrupting America. It’s tax-evading billionaires like Trump who are bleeding this country dry.
Just a thought: How about we stop shaming the poor for buying things that may not be essential, and start shaming the rich for making a profit off things that are essential?
The fact that the President of the United States posts an AI video of himself dumping shit on America from a “King Trump” jet and we’re supposed to pretend it’s perfectly normal, everyday stuff shows exactly what is terribly wrong with today’s political mainstream media.
The fact that there were no counterprotests shows that Trumpism and MAGA barely exist outside of social media. This movement has gradually collapsed completely within the population. — It’s difficult to fill the real world with Trump government troll bots.
