Am I the only one who feels like blocking entire #Fediverse instances is harmful to the open-sourced ecosystem? There were talks to mandate IM services to allow basic texting/calling features to be interoperable. If that system is based off of the infrastructure we have now, people will block all the corporate services from federating with them, and we'll be right back at square 1. The right way to accomplish the same effect would be to allow instance mods to block individual users.
Boosts appreciated: I am working on an #accessibility wiki, because info on accessibility for #blind people is fragmented. It is not ready for public release, but I would like to invite volunteers to help me improve the site. I need to get web devs, server maintainers, moderators, writers, and whoever else would be able to contribute. Please send me a DM if you're interested.
