Episode 1 — T:0: The Rise of Nostr - Ben Wehrman on the End of Centralized Platforms I met @₿en Wehrman only a week ago, when he presented about Nostr in Austin, TX. That meeting convinced me to nostrize my show T-0: Meet the Mavericks Of Decentralization. Ben is one of the top voices on Nostr, the open protocol reshaping the future of communication and media. In this T-0 segment, Ben explains why Nostr is already disrupting the centralized platforms -- and why they're right to be afraid of it. I’ll release most of my interviews on Nostr, and keep only the highlights on the regular social channels — hopefully contributing, in some small way, to Nostr’s growing community. Technical note: I’m testing a few formats to dial in the best experience. The low-rez MOV is coming straight off a Blossom server, and I’ve added the high-rez Rumble link as a fallback. Blossom (decentralized): https://blossom.l484.com/5c6a353f834cbbbd1fa9492fa0d4ae796a24cfbe5459bdc406bc2b3f37e934d3 Rumble (fallback): https://rumble.com/v71qo16-t0-the-rise-of-nostr-ben-wehrman-on-the-end-of-centralized-platforms.html
Simple summary of why indie content creators should jump to Nostr — for the clueless (as I was just yesterday). image
First post here on Nostr. Feels good to be in a space that actually walks the decentralization talk. Short background. My name is Jan Wellmann. Ive been a filmmaker, startup entrepreneur, and frequency fanatic for the past few decades. Done content for both networks and indie channels, and now want to switch over to authentic stories that need a platform like this to stay online. Ill be sharing content under my real name from my upcoming show “T-0: Meet the Mavericks of Decentralization,” a series on the rebels and shakers reshaping the world through Bitcoin, web5, regenerative farming, self-sufficient communities et al — the Andors who look to shorcut the Empire. Stay tuned for rebel action. #introductions
