i'm browsing executive education programs, buuut i guess because of (working) class struggle is real, a common theme is that these are mostly pretty "big picture" oriented and rarely about hands on practical skill building. if i want to offer people in my org (paid by org) practical but advanced skill training courses, i.e. for topics like graphics design, communications, project mgmt, electronics etc, what are the right keywords to look for?

because of shipping and technical debt cleanup etc i'm a bit behind on announcing that we've replaced the wayfire desktop with GNOME on the mnt reform series laptops, as one of the two primary default environments (the other being Sway), and replaced greetd with GDM. we'll soon publish a longer article about this. the main motivation is my goal to make reform devices as accessible and discoverable as possible by default, and if you're more advanced, you can dismantle and customize anything.
i wonder where/how the default apps that go in the dock (dash) on debian gnome are decided. right now there's evolution and libreoffice writer in there, but no browser, for example, which feels strange. my time for polishing has run out, but something for the next version i guess...
tfw u wake up to @jacqueline getting the pocket
