here's the wheel that i reinvented today. but i really like to do things based on plain text files (well, in this case markdown + a json metadata block). we already had this system for sharing a tree of markdown files that can be viewed/edited on the web or via any text editor (over sshfs or webdav), even on phones. also [@holo_memory](https://strangeobject.space/@holo_memory ) made some icons
