@Lawrence Lepard @Lyn Alden @less @Jeff Booth @preston (and anyone else!) curious for thoughts on Bitcoin in retirement accounts such as Roth IRA. Certainly a big believer in β€œNot your keys, not your coins.” but as you know this space doesn’t work like thatβ€”they have to hold custody of assets until at least 59 1/2. I’ve explored a few competitors offering full custody BTC IRAs as well as multisig IRAs, but the interesting issue is none of these competitors offer BOTH, requiring a choice. The fact these competitors use outside custodians also adds a layer of complexity that’s concerning if that custodian fails. The reason for one option or the other appears to be how the McNulty case is being interpreted, making it seem like one option might be the wrong one, but not sure. Curious to hear thoughts from folks with experience in these legacy products. πŸ‘πŸ™
