I wonder what living rooms in 10 years will look like. 15 years ago people who built in their CRT TV cubby hole were feeling pretty dumb. Now there's essentially nothing to watch on your big screen, and most people are glued to phone or iPad anyway. I wonder if living room design will go back to circular arrangements of chairs and couches without everything being pointed at the TV shrine.

I wanted to install mpv because I'm running into vlc being crap. Which means I need to upgrade my ffmpeg, which means I need to upgrade obs, which means I need to upgrade pretty much every package on my system, but now I have conflicting upgrades, so I need to uninstall a bunch so that the package maanger will allow updates. I'm boutta move to nix to fix this. And I'm boutta build a build server to prep my system upgrades. I don't wanna. But I'm about to.
