NEWSLETTER: Perera Family serving in Fort Worth, TX.
Dear family in Christ,
We have good news to share. After Worldlink Ministries spoke with auditor, we will be able to continue receiving the funds that you send to us. We are grateful to God for keeping this door open as it is crucial for carrying out the ministry among Hispanics in Dallas - Fort Worth to which God has called us. We are thankful to Worldlink for the faithful work they do to benefit the work we are involved in. We are grateful for your generosity and love for the Lord of the harvest. We see your love in the generous and faithful support towards our family. As you know, without your support, we would not be able to minister to the hundreds of Hispanics we are reaching out to, as we are foreigners and Carol is not able to work yet.
Regarding our visas, we are currently in the process of renewing them. We have been trying to extend them for 3 months but immigration has sent the request back to Central Bible Church 4 times and has asked for something that was missing. After the last occasion, we are not clear on what to do and have had to seek help from an attorney. Please pray with us so that we may receive the extension, and provision to cover all expenses with this process. Additionally, we are about to take the first step towards obtaining permanent residency, transitioning from non-immigrant to immigrant status. Once this is granted (estimated around 4 years), we will be in a position to apply for residency. These are lengthy and costly processes. Central Bible Church is being our sponsor and we are very grateful for this generous effort and faith. Undoubtedly, we see injustices in the system when compared to other cases, but we are trusting that the will of the Lord will be done.
Thank you for your fellowship as we serve God among the Hispanic nations around us.
Much Love, Perera Family
