The mainstream social platforms have gotten so tiresome. The algorithms have everyone in their own filter bubble so that it’s like no one is experiencing the same reality, and everyone is convinced and self-righteous about their version of reality.
The “moderation” has become so intense and sensitive that I got a strike on my account for saying “ku klux klan jokes really aren’t funny right now for white or black people” yet hundreds of actual bullying comments calling conservatives klansmen were given a pass? What?
I’m not even conservative, but I think the whole “all conservatives are extremists” bullshit is unhelpful and not in my own self interest as someone who doesn’t want us to have another civil war… but apparently that’s controversial and I just need to shut up?
Nostr is the only place that makes sense anymore. Smh.
