Russias oligarchy and their rise to power during Perestroika is functionally the same as Quantitative Easing Both: instances of small group exploiting weakness in economic system to enrich themselves
in other news my cat is snoring and its the cutest little noise it makes me so grateful i can work from home with her next to me
im watching/listening to a podcast while i work: 'how identity literally changes what you see' its almost like people want to do everything they can to avoid talking to people who see the world differently than them its like the host and guest are trying to assure themselves that they don't have to do the real hard work that they can just continue on their way and that if they just write more papers and stories then somehow others will 'get it' and all their problems will be magically solved the irony given the title is laughable but its also interesting to think about how this applies to bitcoin my take: honestly believe that 'bitcoin is the lifeboat' is at an individual level. its exciting when we first 'get' bitcoin and we want others to see it the way we see it we can expend a lot of effort trying to convince others and can get caught up in what's happening around us so much that we often burn out we want to change the whole world we want hyperbitcoinization tomorrow biycoin standard or bust the hubris is equally laughable ultimately we don't have the power to change others we only have the power to change ourselves but we do have the power to listen and to be kind to those around us and i think thats way more important than trying orange/red/black/white pill everyone
if you add 'saylor' then ours would match 😂
