Thankful for #nostr tonight.
Twitter changed their UI to (again) always default to the For You page. Normally I keep it on my Following Only page, because I have curated a follow list full of amazing people doing cool shit with Bitcoin.
Man, the Twitter FYP is a wasteland. I guess because I don't particularly like either political party, it tries me with hatred on both sides. Just the worst people with the worst bigotry and bile. And I hate to admit, it works... after feeling relatively chill for a while, since they made this change, I've suddenly got the urge to call everyone a cunt again.
Also, holy shit... the amount of people bitching about price, FUD, Knots drama... I'm so happy I only follow founders, builders, and students, who are too busy doing great stuff to participate in the navel-gazing.
I can change my Twitter page back to Following, but it resets to FYP so seamlessly as I click around, I forget which I'm on. And I'm certain that's by design... Musk wants people to see stuff outside their circle because disagreement drives far more engagement. My sanity and peace are being sold for clicks.
And so thank you Nostr, for giving me a place to be away from algorithms. ✌️🧡
