Cowlitz County WA (where Longview is) went for Trump by 20 points and is pretty aggressively MAGA. Longview also a river-port and timber-mill town that’s been hit hard by tariffs. RE: View quoted note →

The original headline in that NYT interview, blaming just "women" for ruining the workplace, is a much better reflection of its contexts, which include a riff on how men are "warriors" and women are "worriers." It's that infantile.
