Is everybody a "community" now? I heard this morning a comment about "the endocrinology community." What? Do people that study or are involved with or like hormones somehow now in a community. Pretty sure we all have hormones. Aren't we then all in this community? And, by extension, extrapolate that to fill-in-the-blank community. Name it, you might be in it. And what if I don't want to be in this so-named community, but am anyway as defined by you. I'm opting out. Enough with the "X community" stuff.

I was just watching a male cardinal perch on a piece of child's playground climbing equipment. Another male cardinal flew in to bully the first off his perch. And then a third flew in. It's another conclave of cardinals (who don't play well with others).
