The combat is meaty and interesting but stage 1 is absolutely soporific, like the Metroidvania shit feels like it's just trying to spread the content thing. Ragebound got to the point quicker even with that obstacle course nonsense. The first boss felt like he could have been put in Ragebound and fit right in.
