Satoshi Nakamoto is a pseudonym for the individual or group that developed Bitcoin, wrote the Bitcoin white paper, and created and deployed the original reference implementation of Bitcoin. It is estimated that Nakamoto owns approximately one million Bitcoin, which are now valued at 90 billion USD. Despite some recent claims, no one knows for sure who Nakamoto really is.
