H.264 High and AAC-LC is probably my favorite combo. I know it's :p:ro:p:rietary :ohgno: but it's the most widely supported and offers more than good enough compression.
I'm also a very big fan of MPEG2 and AC3 (simpleish and public domain with very wide support) :thinking_rms:
I also like mjpeg for it's simplicity plus it's by far the most widely supported video codec.
H.264 High and AAC-LC both become public domain in 2028.
OEMs are now dropping h.265 because they're finally realizing the licensing is retarded.
H.266 is DOA.
I want to like AV1 but the licensing sucks and it's too complex for my liking
I like opus a lot but support for it is nowhere near the level of AAC-LC or AC3.
I'm a fan of Daala but AV1 has pretty much killed it unfortunately.
I'm a really big fan of FARGAN and I hope to see it gain more popularity.
Thank you for reading my blog post.
What exactly is the argument for why CERN needs this level of security and employee verification/restriction?

I still remember when Brits on Reddit were arguing that the BBC can't be biased because it's controlled by the government. :yougottaavealoicense: :reddit_would_be_proud: :queensmug:
