It's a bit more chilly with just 6°C, so standing still every three steps is a bit cold, as I don't have a warmer jacket on... This jacket would be OK, but not when we stand still more than we walk. I know it's the SniffiVerse™ walkies, but I don't wanna be cold... Ah well, guess I'll have to suck it up, and sometimes tell Arwen that she inhaled enough of the smells and we need to move a bit... I only rode the seated bike at the gym. Made it to half an hour though. Really dislike that my leg keeps giving out so often. 😔 There is a lovely moon out again, so I managed to get a snap. Had to wait anyway for all the sniffs... 🌔 Let's see what tonight will bring... I want to work on my blog tonight so I'll do that once we get home. Maybe there will be some time to exercise as well... I know I already did some work on the journal post, but still, there's some more work to be done on it. This afternoon, Samsung will share my health stats. So when I have those, they just need to be added into the post and then it should be done. So I don't think I'll be getting any updates about the PC just yet... I hope the delivery on Wednesday will be an early one, so that it gives me some time to "play" with it when it arrives. I need to get the old drives from the old PC, as I do hope that I'll be able to hook those up in the new PC. And I need to replace the firewire card as well. :bear_love: Ello sweet and lovely Friendos :purple_heart_sparkle: Hide the food, cause I'm back! :dancing_kirby: well, I did snack too much yesterday, as the scale wondered if it were really me due to the weight change. But I also had IBS issues, so that may have caused some of the extra weight as well... 🫣 Sorry, TMI... I had a good sleep! I fell asleep rather quickly and then I woke again, about half an hour before the alarm was set to go off. I really had to go, but yeah, I had a long sleep and I felt reasonably good, so that's a good start. 😊 I got emails that my parcels had been delivered at my neighbors two doors down. So that means I can pick up the vinyls later today and give them a spin! Yay... Otherwise I would have had to wait quite a few days, as this Monday is a holiday in the Netherlands, so no parcels then. So I'm very glad that my neighbors were able to accept them. I've tried it with my neighbors 5 doors down, but the delivery service things that's too far away... (cause the houses are just around the corner, it's less than 50 meters I guess and they always pass both the houses, as thetes no other roads in between, but still, they won't deliver there... 🤔). So yay for the other neighbors being home. 😊 I still feel bad about ordering the vinyls while I have to find a way to pay for Arwen's pills in two weeks... But my friend said I needed to get something for me, as I deserved that... Still hope I can make ends meet to find a way to pay for the pills in 1½ weeks, as they're quite expensive. 😔 Ugh... But they help her so well... I hope I can make things work, otherwise I may need to check my saving coupons but I don't think I've been able to save too much since I used them for her shot... She needs the pills after my bday, so maybe I'll get enough prezzies that it may cover some of the costs? 😔 But on the other hand, dad is helping me get a new PC! The laptop does it's best, but it's older than Arwen and it's struggling. Plus I am struggling as I don't know Linux well enough... The pc will need Windows for my old video editing software... But maybe some people can help me to make it a double boot, so I can learn more about Linux on it then as well. I will order the pc this morning, so hopefully I can get it somewhere next week... 🤞🏻 It's a very simple gaming pc, but I don't game on my pc too much, and my video editing was working OK on the old pc, so it should be OK on this new one as well. I've seen some awesome beasts on the website, but no money for that. This is a good one as well, or it should be, for what I want to do with it... I have a stand alone Blu-ray burner, so with windows, that will run as well, so I can use it to play disc's and to backup stuff... Can't wait to order it... 😊 I will add the specs (from the Dutch site). I know things could be way better. But within the funds and what I need... I'm very grateful to be getting this! I'll open the back door of the house again when we're back home, as it was almost 23°C indoors and that was a bit much for Arwen... I already opened the upstairs windows some, so that I can hopefully ride my bike a bit, before I crash on the couch with my laptop to work on my journal blog post... 😊 Today should be a more relaxing day. I rode the seated bike for 25 minutes and I used the cross-trainer for 5. Couldn't use the massage chair as one had been taken already... So hopefully I can ride my bike a bit after walkies. The scale wasn't too unkind this morning, so that was nice. I even got a snap of the moon again! Finally it was bright enough and it was "up" long enough for me to take a snap... 😊 I edited it a wee bit and I'll ask altbot for some help with it. It's too late to run! :pixy_party: I had a good night! 😁 Woke once for the loo around 21, was like "way too early" and went back to sleep. Then startled as my alarm woke me! I almost got 7½ hours of sleep, even my watch was excited 😂 haha! My sleep score was 86, so not too bad at all, considering my watch hates it that I don't sleep between 23-3 😂. Today should be a busy day. No garden work for me, as I'll be taking mum to Germany. Yesterday the shops were closed there, so we'll be going today. Fingers crossed 🤞🏻 that we'll be early enough, so it won't be too busy yet... We will also visit the garden center again, so I can get the things I need for Arwen's corner. The funds are very low, especially as Arwen also needs her pills soon again (and they're so expensive :parrot_sad:). But they help her so well, so I gotta do what I can to make ends meed and to get her the meds... But if I can get the cloth, pins, and a simple outdoor carpet, then the corner should be made well enough for her to relax in the shade. As much as we can relax with all that noise... Can't wait for the weekend, when they don't work! 😂 But yeah, Germany, the Appie, Intratuin... It will be a busy morning for sure... So I guess that, when we get home, I'll be very tired... It should be less warm today, which will be good, especially for the dogs. They say it should be a sunny day again, the last one for a few days, with 24°C. When I went to bed yesterday afternoon, my weather station said it was 31°C. Dunno how accurate it was, but it was very warm when I let Arwen out for the last wee. This weekend should be a bit cooler with maybe some rain? Next week, it has temps between 12-16°C, so cooler than this week, but not too bad overall... I'll add the forecast, just because I can. But I'll ask altbot to help me with it, as I'm not too good with snaps like these... My body is sore. My right arm, shoulder, elbow, and hand are complaining when I move. Heck, my elbow even complains when I don't move... 😔 My lower back was giving me some issues as well, so I was glad for the pain meds before I went to bed. Today a rest from the garden, if weather allows, maybe I can finish Arwen's corner this weekend... My green bin is almost filled, and they won't empty it till next week, so I have to leave some space available for the food bits... If body and weather allow, I'll just keep digging out more weeds, and then I'll stack them. So when the bin is emptied next week, I can start to fill it again. I really want the garden to have less weeds. I had the anti-weed cloth for the front garden, but now, I wanna finish the back one first. I can't properly relax when I see all the weeds. (I can't really relax as long as the construction is being done behind the house). We should have some pavements again behind the house by the end of next week. Which means... They'll use the vibrating machine again to get all the stones in place... Which will drone through the house again... Wish I was less sensitive to sounds... 😔 Ah well.... Some day, it should all be done, and then, we should have a meat area where we can relax 🤞🏻. Guess I'd better get some exercises done now! (but with the construction going on, we may need to wait for their summer break to get some quiet... And I don't know if she'll make it till then.... :bear_love: Ello sweet and lovely Friendos :purple_heart_sparkle: I'm glad that, years ago, I got myself some NC earplugs. They're a tad old and they probably need replacing at some point... But having them means that I can block out some of the awful noise from the construction work behind the house, and am able to focus on my book a bit. Of course, reading in the garden would be better if the garden was free of weeds... And even better without the awful noises of the construction workers.... 😇 But I try to block that out, relax in the warmth of the sun, and to enjoy the book. There is some humidity, but not much wind, so it doesn't feel too cold. 😊 I rode the bike for half an hour at the gym. I enjoyed the massage chair as well... I still need to do more. I keep saying that. I keep believing that. But my body and mind just won't do that... After the surgery, and probably after I've lost my big love (I hope she won't leave me yet, but my autistic brain is being realistic all time, I should be able to shift my routine some. So I can go to the gym a bit later, so it hopefully will be less busy, and I'll feel more free to do more of the exercises. And I don't have to worry about being gone too long... Arwen is enjoying all the sniffs, and I am enjoying the time spent with her. I need to work a bit on my blog on the laptop when we get home. And I may try to get some relaxing time in... But maybe... I can get myself to go upstairs and just ride the home trainer a short while... I do have to go upstairs anyway, to clean up the dry laundry... Maybe... :ablobcatangel: Today will be a busier day. In the morning, Arwen and I will head to Nijmegen. Mum and I will visit a garden center where I can get some things for my garden. Can't get too much yet, but I need a good shovel and the anti-weeds cloth for the front garden at least. Maybe they'll have a nice flower pot on sale, and a water can, and a nice little flower. So I can add that to the front garden, next to my little sheep. I don't have many funds, so I need to do this gradually. But the cloth should help me with not needing to weed so much and so often... And we'll need to head to Appie. Mum got the wrong muesli, and hopefully we can exchange it for the right ones... They aren't too cheap, so hopefully, we can get the right ones instead. I slept in one go for a little over 6,5 hours. It's not much... But it's better than the 5,5 hours I've been getting lately... 😊 Even got a sleep score of 92, according to my watch. The scale was a bit less enthusiastic. Which was a bummer... I really wish my body would be less sore/stressed, and my brain would be less tired... I miss working out properly, I miss the way it made me feel and look... But it just is all bläh and I can't seem to get it done... Ugh... I didn't get to game yesterday. The weather was lovely, so I went to the garden with my eReader and I finished the latest Hunger Games series book... It was very good! Although I wasn't a big fan of the many poems/lyrics in the end. I have trouble reading those kind of things in the right way, if that makes sense... I mean, if I see a lyric and I know the music to it, it's easier to read, as I know "how it's intended to sound". But when I don't know it, I just don't know "how I should read it", and that makes it harder for me... But it was a good book, and I'm very grateful to @Mel 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿 for gifting it to me. 💜 It was good to sit in the sun, and reading with the new sunglasses went very well. I was just very annoyed with all the weeds! 😂 So. Many. Weeds! But I'll visit a garden center today with mum, and hopefully I can get some things for the gardens. I don't have many funds. But I hope to get a shovel and at least one of the "anti-weed cloths", so when the front garden is cleaner, I can pin that over it, so less weeds should come through... When I was about 13/14, I realized that I was/am attracted to people, not their gender... I know, this may sound weird, but that's how my then undiagnosed AuDHD brain called it... How a person is, and of course how they look to me, is what makes me attracted to them. So I always thought I was bisexual... So I used that when I talked about me and my sexuality... :bi_heart: But then, I learned more about myself. About the different sexual orientations... And now, I'm wondering if I may be non-binary... I've been reading up about it a bit, trying to understand it better... This is one of the things that I found online: *The term “nonbinary” can mean different things to different people. Essentially, it’s used to describe someone whose gender identity can’t be described as exclusively woman or man. Some people who are nonbinary experience their gender as both man and woman, and others experience their gender as neither man nor woman. And well, I've never felt like a girly girl... I loved boys clothes, I loved boys toys, when I could I got very short hair... I am a woman with the bits and bops that go with it. But I've never felt like a proper one. I didn't do heels, dresses, or makeup. I don't really behave like a girl... So that made me wonder if I could be non-binary instead? :nonbinary_heart: I am wondering if my non-binary friends may be able to share a wee bit of why they identify as non-binary. Can it be "as simple" as not feeling like a girly girl when born as CIS woman? But also not feeling like I'm in the wrong body? 🤔 My autistic brain really struggles with this...
