Swallow's Nest.
Swallow's Nest is a decorative castle near Yalta, in the Crimea.
It was built in neo-Gothic style between 1911 and 1912 near Gaspra, on a cliff overlooking the sea (40 meters high) and is the work of the Russian architect Leonid Sherwood.
The castle dominates the cape of Ai-Todor on the Black Sea and stands a short distance from the ruins of the Roman camp of Charax.
Swallow's Nest is one of the most visited monuments in Crimea and has become the symbol of the southern coast of the peninsula.
