FireWire failed due to gate keeping. Thunderbolt surely isn’t a success thanks for the same reason. HDMI should fail for this reason even if it’s unlikely at this point.

A friend of mine runs a Discord server with a few thousand users and both his GMT timezone mods are on vacation. He asked me to keep an eye on it.
I admire and pity anyone with mod status in online communities.
Why do I have to explain a full grown adult at 10am that’s it’s a “no no” to tell someone to kill themself?
IRC wasn’t perfect. Forums weren’t perfect. But with mod status across multiple channels for years I didn’t see as much stupid as the last 48 hours.
Two hours with #overwatch2 on Linux and no issues at all.
The shader compilation took a minute at start and can be fixed by either not letting it clean the cache or switching to DX12 (for whatever reason?!).
Locked at 300fps, latency and input delay around the same as Windows. I don’t want to say slightly better because two hours isn’t really indicative yet.
Guess this is the final bye bye for my Windows partition. Next up: modding Skyrim on Linux. Wish me luck, I’ll need it. #gamingOnLinux
I know #bazzite is actively discouraging you to rebase from Gnome to KDE but I see no reason why this shouldn’t work as long as I’m willing to reset my local configs before doing so.
I’ll keep you posted on me feeling smarter than the documentation before getting a reality check because I didn’t know something the docs author knew.
(I’m okay doing a reinstall. I need to get rid of Gnome. I just want to try the rebase to see what thr actual issues are)
