Did any of you have the chance to play the original Planetside? I really loved Planetside 2 and played it a LOT in the summer of 2014 but I've heard some claim the original is significantly better than the original. That's definitely a tall order but I wouldn't be surprised, since the first game dropped in 2003, during an era when FPSes were in a bit of a golden age, so I'm just curious if anyone on Retro Gaiden (or the Fediverse) has any stories! #RetroGames #shooters #FPS #Planetside

I love both old and new Elder Scrolls stuff (literally haven't played a TES game I didn't enjoy) but I really would like to see elements of Daggerfall make a comeback at some point. #RetroGames #RPG #ElderScrolls #Bethesda #Daggerfall

If you loved Heretic & Hexen, definitely check out Hands of Necromancy. Great fantasy FPS with metroidvania elements in level design, and really fun weapons/spells to use. Plus, the art is really well-made and feels right in line with 80s and 90s fantasy, if you know what I mean! #FPS #metroidvania #pixelart #RetroGames

When I have kids, I'm going to teach them to take care of and respect their property, especially if it's something electronic... man, look how badly I treated my GBA as a kid. This is just as embarrassing as it is depressing :rp_depre: I already ran over it with some rubbing alcohol but this is gonna take some time to really clean properly, especially that speaker. Thanks to the Genesis classics collection on Steam, I found yet another Genesis game I had no idea even existed: Light Crusader. For those who haven't played it, I'd say it feels like a cross between classic Diablo, Zelda and a little bit of Ultima 8. Very sick combo!
