Helvum, the #gtk, #opensource #pipewire patchbay needs new maintainers! #linuxaudio #developer
Before I restart making #peertube and #youtube #video (s) about #musicproduction on #linux, I wanted to ask you for some #feedback about the recording setup. ☺️ PeerTube: YouTube: #linuxaudio
Over the years, I have acquired certain habits that I think are actually counterproductive. For example, I always write hashtags in lowercase, never in camel case. 🫣
I recently updated 4 #website (s) to a simple purely #npm based #buildsystem. In doing so, I learned the hard way that it's best to do programming myself. I had some extensions written for one of the #theme (s), and these ended up costing me an incredible amount of time now. Tons of unnecessary external dependencies, JS workarounds for things that could have been done with CSS, and an ultra-modular, fragile, hard to comprehend design. And yes, my bad, I didn't do any code review back then. πŸ«£πŸ˜…
Whenever I smile at someone my #iem (s) fall out of my ears. At least on one side. πŸ˜…
I might be misled by my own little #linuxaudio bubble. 🫣😜 But whenever I've discovered a new audio app or #plugin recently, chances have been that it has been available for #linux as well. πŸ™‚ In this context: Has anyone tried Audiocube yet? Based on the version number (8), it's not new, but it is to me. I read about it for the first time today. πŸ€”
