Pics of the view from the balcony of my apartment. The situation grows heavier on my heart daily as the mind continues to grasp the extent of the destruction.
And also the realization that no concrete steps have been taken for reconstruction so far; we only hear speeches and hold Arab summits regarding it, but there is no actual movement. This is compounded by the occupation's obstruction of the entry of debris removal machinery

Update to consider: Israel is blocking the entry of heavy machinery as an initial step toward reconstruction. If we view this obstruction as an attempt to strangle what remains of the Gaza Strip’s ppl, then seriously — how will the bodies of Israeli hostages who may have died in the heavy bombardment, whose remains are now mixed in the rubble of buildings, be recovered?
