The painful reality is that Gaza has been ranked among the regions with the highest percentage of educated people in the world. And what’s even more painful is that these teachers, doctors, engineers, journalists and lawyers....all of them today are in need of help. I do not see this as diminishing their dignity, but every time I feel bitterness toward those who stripped them of their work, destroyed their offices, and took away their sources of livelihood.💔 #idf #israel #gaza #genocide

I am deeply proud of every single person who has stood by me, it truly means the world to me. I always dreamed of having a job, having my own office and writing freely, but life pushed me into hardship,displacement, hunger, & loss. Still, ur generosity's been a lifeline, helping me put food on the table & keep a roof over my head. From the bottom of my heart, thank u🌸. Today's Sep.16 marks the tragic anniversary of the Sabra&Shatila massacre The massacre took place between 16–18 September 1982 in the Sabra&Shatila refugee camps in West Beirut, during the Lebanese Civil War. Hi folks. I'm writing my new poem, titled. " Petals and Pale Signatures: PalestinianVoices on the Wall of Expansion.". It was the murals on the apartheid wall in Palestine that inspired me and gave me the strength to write it. These paintings truly brought me to tears. #gaza #palestine #israel

🍉Since the cooking gas was cut off in Gaza, we've been cooking whatever we can find over wood fires, just like primitive humans. My 11-year-old brother, Yousef, lights the fires. Unfortunately, the smoke exhausts our sinuses, and his in particular, making it hard to sleep. Blackness and ash cover us after every meal.🍉 Additionally, the price of firewood is now increasing due to its increased use by Gazans. A kind reminder about my campaign here.
