You gaze at the sky at midnight, imagining how ppl around the world spend their nights in quiet peace, while before ur eyes the flames burn. Day after day, u become convinced that u live on another, isolated planet one where no one sees & no one hears. Truly, & without any exaggeration, this is the reality in #Gaza as seen from the sky above my shelter.
