If there's one statement I find insufferable it's "Linux is just a kernel" as a rebuttal to anything.
Firstly you're a moron, Linux is the colloquial term for the operating system, get over it already.
Secondly, it's not actually a rebuttal to anything, it's just semantics.
We need to change KDE back to the "Kool Desktop Environment".
I suggest using this name in every possible context to gaslight everyone into thinking it's still called this, then eventually the developers will have to accept it as well.

Please for the love of god keep in mind that this is an alpha, everything I say is only representative of it as an alpha, and as alpha there's a lot bugs but here's a little spoiler the core POC is really good.
It's so nice to see that we're finally getting to a point where those annoying edge cases for Wayland are almost resolved. It's becoming much harder to point to a specific issue that's holding you back from Wayland.
