One of the clearest lessons we've learned from our Counter-Kidnapping Training experts (more on that in a second) is that the best course of action in nearly all dangerous in-person situations is to REMOVE YOURSELF from the interaction in any way possible.
i.e. RUN AWAY.
Thus, it makes sense that RUNNING, and your cardiovascular health in general, is a highly important skill not just for your health and wellbeing, but for your PHYSICAL SAFETY in potential dangerous situations as well.
