Wes: how do you deal with the fact that #ESPHome in #nix is always way behind? I have tried going that route for building updates but it lags behind HAOS and the associated add in too much. So far for me, I’ve resorted to using a virtual environment on macOS to do builds so that the versions match and builds are fast.

I stumbled across #Shopstr tonight and wanted to get your take on it. It talks about using both #Lightning & #Cashu and I was hoping maybe you could explain Cashu and its place in the ecosystem as I don’t get why you wouldn’t just use lightning.

Stumbled across this tonight and thought it might fit into LUP or TWIB… or maybe a little of both. The tech seems vey LUP but Cashu sounds very TWIB. They seem to have recently refactored around Nostr too, so Cashu may not be part of it any longer… I can’t tell.
