Expanding OP_RETURN has corrupted the blockchain and diverted it from its original purpose. Bitcoin is wealth based financial capital, with plenty of room through hashing to reference information data outside of the blockchain at any scale. Adding extra junk to the actual transactions is a waste of space and shall not stand. If this requires a hard fork so that we can keep Bitcoin pure, so be it.
