I have created a transcript of Trump's speech to commemorate this momentous occasion: "Thank you to so and so, who is an amazing person, truly. So and so has an amazing family. And also whatshisname, he’s here tonight too – and whatshisname is amazing. Just tremendous. Where are you, Whatshisname? Raise your hand. There he is! Whatshisname is here tonight, and he’s just incredible. Oh, and That Guy! Where are you, That Guy? There you are! That Guy has done some tremendous work. Amazing. Anyway – I don’t want to waste time, we have a lot of important things to talk about. Crypto! We will mint, mine and make all the crypto here, so that China can’t have it. I don’t like China. USA crypto is better than China crypto. You guys are like the steel industry a hundred years ago. Vote for me and I’ll make sure your industry does amazing – just tremendous. And I will stop World War 3! And you will beg me to stop giving you so much electricity. And under my administration, there will be NO MORE HANKY PANKY! Trump speaking at the 2024 bitcoin conference is going mark the beginning of bitcoin's tenure as a distinctly partisan issue; at least when neither party openly embraced it, it didn't come with a political aftertaste. Now left-leaning people will automatically rail against it because of association with Trump, meanwhile trumpers will embrace it without knowing a damn thing about it or why it's important. But, this was always inevitable, and in the end it will prevail regardless.
