The climate crisis won’t wait. Neither will we. EU countries agreed on our new climate commitment under the Paris Agreement. At 🇧🇷 COP30, Europe stands united, committed to cutting net greenhouse gas emissions by 66.25–72.5% by 2035, compared to 1990 levels. Also, we agreed on a legally binding 2040 target of 90%, with a domestic reduction of 85% and up to 5% from international carbon credits. Ten years after Paris, we’re showing Europe delivers its climate promises, at home and globally.
