It's bizarre to me, when people on here excuse police or paramilitary brutality, and draconian incarceration and extradition rules. Are they not aware that some of their favorite Nostriches have suffered under it? Do they really think the state likes them and wants them to be happy? Do they really not understand that they could be the one staring down that barrel, one day?

That moment, when your debate opponents start attacking you, personally, and you know you've backed them into a rhetorical corner and they're running out of ideas.
