Over the last week I’ve become aware that lots of infrastructure depends on local government, school board, etc, meetings being posted on YouTube. That’s quite a scary dependency & a potential vector for harm. We need to get to a world where these meetings are stored & shared in a more aligned way.

Consistently confused about the rage people seem to have for atheists. I don’t believe in a deity. That doesn’t make me evil. Nor am I going to try to convince you to shift your own beliefs.

I love how thoughtful the Mastodon blog post about introducing quote posting is. A really interesting way the team could be even more impactful on the open social web would be to share their research findings and the thinking that went into these sorts of features - that's the sort of body of knowledge everyone could learn from.
