So many stories of tourists getting apprehended by ICE lately. And student activists, too. For lots of reasons, I don't know that I'd encourage anyone to visit the US right now. Or be a student here. Or invest here. This is not a good situation.

21 years ago, I started writing an open source social networking platform. Since then, it's been run by teams of very smart people who have continued to evolve it through various phases of the web. This year it fully joined the #fediverse. I'm a bit proud - but mostly of the amazing people who took this project on and made it their own.
Sometime over the last few years I completely stopped listening to podcasts. I just don't have time for it. Maybe it was becoming a parent; maybe it was something else. But I don't get where it fits into anything else.
