GM I am reading The English Patient in English. This is a difficult book with lots of nonsense and many details that do not serve the story. However, there is a poetic aspect that is worth the read. I am about halfway through the book and still do not really see where this is going. There is a nurse, a burned man, a thief, and a sapper in an Italian villa at the end of World War II, and that’s about it ... #bookstr

I spent yesterday reading books instead of watching a monitor screen. I could not wait for another day, but writing in my journal is a positive activity. I indulge myself in these small pleasures.
