Just got home from a work trip for the week. I’m telling you, there’s nothing greater in the world than coming home to your wife and kids. 7h drive home, second I walk into the door I’m needed. Hug after hug, jumping up and down. Felt like the biggest celebrity, everyone jockeying for attention including the dog. I was just on a walk around the neighborhood with my two kids and dog. My son a scooter and myself pushing my daughter in a stroller crossing a 4 way. I arrived ahead of the two oncoming cars. I was nearly half way across and one of the cars proceeds to accelerate forward. I raised my hand up in case they didn’t see me. As we make it to the other side, this older boomer creeps up slowly and yells “fuck you” at us. What’s wrong with people? Charged atmosphere out there. Kept my cool in front of the kids but damn.
