Today I wasn’t in the mood. Simply said: it was a bad day.
The photo shows my Citizen watch, solar powered. I took it a couple of months ago when I bought it. I got this watch for traveling — so I don’t miss buses or flights. Once I had no power for two days, couldn’t charge my phone, and suddenly I was timeless.
Africa has sun. A lot of it. So a solar watch made sense — no charging, no battery stress.
It was expensive for me and my finances. I thought long and hard about whether to buy it or not. Then there was a sale, much cheaper than the original price, and I finally went for it.
Now the watch is gone. Stolen.

On one side I’m sad. On the other, I’m really pissed.
