Email 2fa is really archaic, it should support totp at least! The only other major email-only 2fa user that I know of is Steam (derogatory)

Oh nice, I managed to hack my Mastodon instance to show like/repost counts on all posts in the home timeline 🤔 Bad news: because of how ActivityPub works, they all only show 0 or 1 depending on whether *I* have liked something or not 🫠

FYI if someone here is using my tool `tootify` - looks like the 4.4 release, which should be released in a few days, removes the old password-based OAuth login which I'm using there, so this might break if/when your instance updates to 4.4 until I update that code.
