La Cruz coffee farm is sponsoring the local boys football team, San Francisco Juveniles. We came with new kit on a Saturday match day but the opposition didn’t arrive due to lack of transportation. As a bare minimum the children should be able to travel to play football with decent equipment, something we take for granted in Europe.
We have spoken with the management and, thanks to our proximity to @BitcoinBerlinSV , the famous Bitcoin circular economy, we have agreed that all donations will be spent exclusively on services/merchants who accept Bitcoin. Therefore every donation will not only support youth football but also help contribute to one of Bitcoin’s most impressive use cases.
Updates on how the Bitcoin will be spent and which merchants we are spending it with, will be provided as the project develops.
